Local Content Assurance Bureau
The LCAB, or Local Content Assurance Bureau, is a third party auditing bureau that provides supply chain, manufacturing and process assessments to verify that business activities are local. The LCAB ensures that products meet domestic content requirements for the FIT Program under the Contributor to Ontario Renewable Energy (CORE) Program.
CORE Program
The Local Content Assurance Bureau (LCAB) works with manufacturers, suppliers, professional services firms, and individuals to meet the domestic content requirements in the Ontario Power Authority's (OPA) Feed-in Tariff (FIT) Program.
Through the Contributor to Ontario Renewable Energy (CORE) Program, LCAB verifies and certifies a company’s domestic content. By completing a CORE assessment, companies are well positioned to complete the FIT program domestic content approval process.
The CORE program is the only program that is backed by a rigorous on-site verification and review process. CORE provides verification services for all 42 categories across all 4 of the FIT Domestic Content Grids
Members of the CORE program have satisfied the strict standards established by LCAB. The CORE program standards are designed to meet or exceed the domestic content requirements established by the OPA under the FIT program.
